A new camp has been built on Ara to replace the old A Frame. The building accommodates 4 to 10 people and has a balcony overlooking the lake with a spectacular view.

Ara Lake is well known for unending walleye action plus excellent Northern Pike and Jumbo Perch. The lake is 2 1/2 miles wide and 13 miles long. The average depth is 15 feet with holes up to 60 feet deep and numerous reefs and shoals. Nice sand beaches are great for families. There are no other camps within four miles. This outpost cabin has an icehouse on site.
